The remainder of the land is mostly open, approximately 40 acres of pasture. There are some small fingers of woods and some cedar trees that dot the landscape. There is a smaller pond, up the hill from the main lake that has been used for growing bait and forage fish to introduce into the big lake.
The land has frontage on Alabama Highway 61 and County Road 16. There are gated entrances from each road. This property is an easy drive from Tuscaloosa and is convenient to Birmingham. The land is located 48 miles from Tuscaloosa, 90 miles to Birmingham, 25 miles from Demopolis, 93 miles from Montgomery, and 155 miles to Mobile.
