This small property offers big hunting opportunities because it adjoins the Talladega National Forest and lies within thousands of acres of National Forest lands that are open to public use. The whole property is wooded with a natural stand of mixed pines and hardwoods. There are many white oaks and mast bearing trees that drop acorns for the wildlife. The topography is rolling. The highest point of the property is on the east, and it slopes downhill as you go west.

There is a small stream on the west edge of the property. An old spring head originates on the property. There is one road that runs through the property to adjoining owners on the south side. I helped the current owners purchase this property about 10 years ago. They have not made any real changes to the property, with the exception of adding a gate, since the time of their purchase. The property has paved road frontage on Perry County Road 44. The tract is very near to where Bibb and Perry Counties come together. Power is available, and is currently located across the road from the property. The whole eastern boundary adjoins the Talladega National Forest, and the boundary line is painted red. There are several signs along the boundary indicating Forest Service land.
